Our boutique studio is located in the historic district of downtown Powell at 45 Grace Drive, Powell, OH 43065. We are conveniently situated right across the street from the Powell post office.

- Do I have to come in for a Consultation?

Yes, the consultation is a key part of your custom experience with Klatte Photography. This is where we will get to know you better & begin to plan out every detail of your experience. The consultation is relaxing and fun & will help you start to envision your story as we bring it to life!
- What does the Session Fee cover? Does it include any images?

The session fee is paid at the time you book your experience & is non-refundable. This fee covers the personalized consultation, the planning & preparation for the session, the time & talent of the photographer during the session, the image preparation & slideshow creation, the reveal appointment with online image gallery & ONE ordering appointment where you select your images & products.
The session fee does not include any images or products & is a non-refundable fee that is required in order to secure your session date on our calendar.
- How much should I plan to spend?

When budgeting for your portrait experience, you should account for both the session fee & the pre-investment. The final amount that you ultimately invest is entirely dependent on you, as everyone’s individual preferences for displaying their final images may vary & our products are completely customized to you & your needs.
The "pre-investment" is the minimum requirement that you must invest in your final images at your ordering appointment. This amount is determined in order to help our clients establish & prepare a budget for the complete experience well ahead of time. This allows us to allocate the time & quality of service required in order to consistently deliver the highest level of personalized experience for you. We offer many different portrait sessions all with different pre-investments:
Weekday Family Session Pre-investment - $250
Weekend Family Session Pre-investment - $350
Destination Family Session Pre-investment - $500
Senior Session Pre-investment - $500
Wedding Collections - starting at $2500
- When is the "Pre-investment" Due?

By booking your portrait session experience with Klatte Photography, you are making a commitment to the minimum pre-investment required for your session.
In order to provide you with the level of experience we strive for, we must turn down other clients in order to dedicate our time solely to you throughout the entire process. The minimum pre-investment must be paid in full at the reveal appointment as compensation for services rendered & will be applied to your finished portrait order.
- When will I get to see the Images from my session?

When you book your portrait experience with Klatte Photography, you can expect to meet with us 4 separate times:
- The consultation
- The session
- The reveal appointment
- The ordering appointment
Your reveal appointment is the time where you will come to the studio to view the images from your session in a custom designed highlight slideshow set to music. This appointment is typically scheduled 1 to 2 weeks after your session date. Your pre-investment is due at this appointment & is valid for 30 days. Once this is paid we will release your images to an online gallery for at-home viewing for 30 days.
Your ordering appointment is the time to make your final selections to purchase. In order to ensure the best experience possible & give you the highest level of satisfaction, we will not proceed with a sales appointment if all decision makers are not present at that time. This appointment must be scheduled within 30 days after your reveal appointment before your pre-investment expires. Please be aware that if an additional ordering appointment is required there is a $100 fee.
- When will I receive my Finished Portraits?

Depending on your final selections, your custom portrait products will typically be ready 2 to 3 weeks after your ordering appointment. Longer times can be expected for coffee table albums & books.
Half of your portrait order total is due at the ordering appointment. The remaining balance of your order is due at time of pick-up. Partial order pick-ups are allowed, however your invoice total must be paid in full.
- How long do you keep my Images?

You can relax knowing that we archive all of your files indefinitely. However, if you need to access files from our backups beyond 1 year from the delivery of your finished order, we will charge a fee of $100 to retrieve those files for you.
- What happens if I need to reschedule my Session (or an appointment)?

We understand that sometimes unexpected emergencies arise that will prevent you from keeping your original scheduled appointment (such as illness, weather or travel issues, or other emergency situations). If this happens, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible in order for us to be able to reschedule. We are able to provide a one-time reschedule at no additional cost. Additional reschedules will require a fee of $100 per occurrence & are subject to schedule availability.
Your session fee is non-refundable, however you may apply it towards your rescheduled date if completed within 6 months of the original date.
- Can I make a copy of my image to print?

Unless you have paid for your high resolution digital negatives & received a copyright release letter, the copyright for all images remain the property of Klatte Photography & are protected under U.S. Federal Copyright Laws. Duplication in part or in whole (including, but not limited to, scanning or reprinting) is strictly prohibited & may incur fines up to $10,000 per image as defined by law.
This includes posting scanned images that were not provided to you by Klatte Photography on social media sites.
